Voter Information

A "qualified voter" is a person who is a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years old, a resident of the School District for at least 30 days prior to the date of the election at which he/she offers to vote, and who is not otherwise prohibited by from voting under the provisions of Section 5-106 of the Election Law.

You must be registered in order to vote.  The last day to register to vote at the Annual School District Budget Vote and Board of Education Elections on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 is Thursday, May 13th.

The Ossining Union Free School District has personal ongoing registration.  You may register in person in the Main Office at each of our six (6) schools or at Central Office located at 400 Executive Blvd., 2nd Floor, Ossining.

Absentee Ballots

Absentee ballot applications* may be obtained from the District Clerk by email at  or by phone at 914.941.7700 x1317.  You may also obtain an Absentee Ballot Application by clicking on one of the following:  Click here for English.  Click here for Spanish.

*Anyone who is uncomfortable voting in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic may request an absentee ballot application.  When completing the form, you must check the box that says, "temporary illness or physical disability".  

NOTE:  Completed ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 18th.
