• Teaching:
  If you are interested in applying for any teaching positions in the Ossining Union Free School District, please apply directly online.
   
• Civil Service:
  Clerical and Maintenance positions are governed by the Westchester County Civil Service Rules. When positions become available, the Ossining Union Free School District canvasses the list provided by the Westchester County Office of Human Resources. Follow this link to those offices if you would like to download an application for an exam and view upcoming test dates.
   
• Support Staff:
  The New York State Education Department has issued new regulations for teaching assistants. If you are interested in becoming a teaching assistant, you will need to pass the New York State Assessment of Teaching Skills Test (NYSATAS). You will find all the information regarding this test and certification at this link.
   
• Substitutes:
  For application as a substitute. Please contact Madeline Edwards at 914.941.7700 extension 329. You may also email Ms. Edwards at medwards@ossining.k12.ny.us. Fingerprint clearance is required. The current fee for fingerprinting is $99.00. All substitutes to the Ossining Union Free School District are appointed by the Board of Education.
